    Broderie Anglaise blouse – Brodyyripusero

    February 19, 2019 / 4 Comments

My sewing friend Jenna purged her stash and gifted me this lovely black broderie anglaise cotton. Most of broderie anglaise is white so I didn’t know what to make out of it until I saw this blouse in the Finnish crafts magazine Suuri Käsityö, issue 11-12/2018. The blouse was made of Liberty tana lawn and it had some Christmassy trims on it but I immediately saw the possibilities in the pattern. The pattern has puffed 3/4 sleeves with gathers at the cuff. Suuri Käsityö 5/2018 Mekkohaalari – Dress romper

    June 4, 2018 / No Comments

Liikunnalliselle nuorelle neidille mekko-shortsihaalariyhdistelmä on yliveto.

I found this pretty blouse in a thrift store and w I found this pretty blouse in a thrift store and wanted to make it suit better with my historical style. It already had puffed sleeves, lace inserts and pin tucks but it had a neckline that was too big and well... more lace can't hurt, right? So, I lifted the neckline with lace and added vertical ruffles. Then, I made a white cotton tulle guimpe to wear underneath. This cabinet was a great find. The bonus points include that the door is not tight fitting which allows hanging stuff from the edge with hooks. #hamster #dwarfhamster #hamsterhabitat #hamsterheaven #hamsterterrarium #lovehamster #hamsterfun #diyhamstercage #ikeahack #ikeahackers #ikeahamstercage #ikearudsta
