Kuura vest video tutorial

This winter has already seen some really cold days so I dug up my own Kuura vest pattern to make myself some vests/tank tops to wear underneath my blouses and tees. I took the chance to make a video tutorial to make it easier for you to make a vest for yourself. This pattern is very easy to make and it is suitable for stretchy knits like cotton, wool, or silk jersey. I decided to make a luxurious version and used silk. However, silk is notoriously hard to sew with, so for any new sewists, I recommend using cotton or (mulesing-free) merino wool.

You can find the free Kuura vest pattern here. And the written sewing instructions are here. There are some small differences between the written instructions and the video tutorial. Both versions work and there is no right or wrong order to construct this vest. And although I drew the pattern for a vest/tank top, you can as well use this pattern to make a sleeveless summer top!

Here you go:

I hope you give this pattern a go and comment down below if you now think about sewing this vest!

Happy sewing!
