Potholders and an oven mitt
I made quilted potholders using a technique my grandmother taught me when I was a child. I also made a matching oven mitt to go with them.
Random triangle quilt
Our living room needed some brightening and I decided to make a random triangle quilt to replace the old and ratty wool blanket. I selected a bunch of black and white, gray and mustard yellow fabrics to suit our living room colours. This being only my second quilting project I am very happy with the outcome.
Baby quilt – my first ever quilting job
I made my first ever quilt using cottons from my fabric stash. I found the inspiration for the pattern in the Love Sewing magazine, issue 47 although I did end up arranging the blocks in a different way. This will be a great baby quilt for my nephew/niece!
