Bracelets – rannekoruja

I have been making some jewellery. This bracelet design came out in an accident when I run out of beads in one particular colour. I realised that the accident made my bracelets prettier and I went on making several of these in different colours.

Olen vaihteeksi askarrellut koruja.

These are called “Lähde” (Spring) and “Vesi” (Water).

These bracelets are all 8 mm glass beads strung into either 0,7 or 1 mm elastic cord with two extra metallic beads.

Three bracelets.
These are called “Prinsessa” (princess, top right), “Marenki” (meringue, left) and “Samppanja” (champagne, at the bottom).

Two bracelets: "Orvokki" and "Metsätähti".
Here are “Orvokki” (violet) and “Metsätähti” (starflower).

And finally something for the boys, too:

Ja vihdoin jotain myös pojille:

Bracelets for men: "Peura and "Tapio".
“Peura” (deer) and “Tapio”. In old Finnish mythology Tapio is a god or a spirit of the forest, also called as the king of the forest.

Peura bracelet is made out of pale acai beads and brown buri beads. Tapio bracelet has brown acai beads and red wooden beads. The both acai and buri are palm trees the seeds of which can be made into beads.
