Here are some interesting sewing-related products that I have bought recently ranging from fashion sketchbooks to new fabric. Here is what I think of them.

Plissé technique at home – Kankaan pliseeraus kotona
I taught myself how to make beautiful plissé fabric at home. It's not an easy process but you don't need any special equipment more complicated than an ordinary domestic steaming iron. What you need is patience but the results can be breathtaking!
Book review: The Secrets of Sewing Lingerie
I bought the wonderful book, The Secrets of Sewing Lingerie by Katherine Sheers and Laura Stanford and tested the first recommended project, Pretty as a Picnic cotton mini. These knickers out of cotton lawn were very fast to make and fit nicely.
