Bias-cut skirt with stripy Kultavilla fabric
I received free Kultavilla Folk wool-cotton fabric to test and decided to make a bias-cut autumn skirt with the Lorna skirt pattern by Love Sewing magazine.
Ruffled skirt with Ottobre 1/2011 15. Cocos
I made a ruffled skirt with Ottobre design 1/2011 15. Cocos. I used the same Fabriking bamboo French terry that I used to make a jacket for my son.
Skirt out of locally weaved Kultavilla fabric
This Kultavilla fabric is weaved just a few kilometres from where I live. How nice it would be to wear a skirt out of local fabric!
Bubbles with bubbles (Ottobre 4/2011 Glow-worm top)
The 1 metre of bubble print jersey was enough to make both a sleeveless top using the Ottobre 4/2011 34. Glow-worm top pattern and a matching skirt.
Vintage-inspired outfit
I made another Gertie blouse and a simple everyday skirt using the 1940s skirt pattern. This resulted in a nice coordinating vintage-inspired outfit.
