A wool coat for winter, part 4: Smooth seams and warmth
In my wool coat project, it's time to properly press the seams I had already sewn. I also proceeded to make the coat underlining layers to keep me warm. The coat is finally taking shape!

My winter wool coat project is slowly progressing. This time I cut the fabric and add some very important interfacings to support the coat fronts.
Reflective roses – Ruusuheijastimet
The winter dark can be deadly, so I thought ways to make my own reflectors. I made these reflective rose brooches that can be pinned to my coat fronts.
Pattern fitting and the red ramie dress (Lekala S4103)
I challenged myself to make my friend a well fitting dress that she could wear both at work and at parties. Lekala S4103 was a good starting point.
In-house patterns Diana blouse in silk
I made a green silk Diana blouse by In-house patterns. Silk deserved French seams and slip-stitching by hand so that all the raw edges were hidden.
