This Bootstrapfashion 4261 ruffle blouse is again part of my Sensible Sewing Challenge. It closely resembles the Lekala dress I made last year, except being a bit more fitted and having a key-hole neckline instead of a pleated one. Penny at the seaside
The local fabric shop had lovely new floral viscose fabrics and I couldn’t resist this tropical fabric. I had just the perfect pattern for it on my Sensible Sewing Challenge list: The Sew Over It Penny Dress. This is now my favourite dress pattern having made two dresses and the blouse with it. (Btw. They just published this former pdf-only pattern as a printed pattern, so check it out if you hate cutting and pasting pdf-patterns together!) Junebug dress as a nightie
Junebug dress pattern is a pattern for a dress and not a nightie. However, the colouring, the fabric choice and the vintage look makes it look more of a nightie to me.

Navy Elise blouse
I figured out that the Elise blouse pattern by Rosie and me deserved a second chance. In the first blouse the neckline was too revealing, so this time I needed to change that. Fortunately, lovely Esther at Rosie and me made a tutorial on how to do just that!

Vintage-inspired outfit
I made another Gertie blouse and a simple everyday skirt using the 1940s skirt pattern. This resulted in a nice coordinating vintage-inspired outfit.
